UAE Required Documents for Accounts Activation

Account activation in UAE, Egypt, Jordan or Lebanon requires documents that vary depending on the type of business you have (Corporate - Individual)



A) A corporate business is a licensed business for which you need to provide the following:


1) Copy of Emirates ID (Front & back)

  • Copies of all shareholders with more than 25% ownership (As seen on the Trade License), and/or Authorised Signatory

2) Copies of the Passport Visa Page

  • Copies of all shareholders with more than 25% ownership (As seen on the Trade License), and/or Authorised Signatory

3) Copy of Trade license

  • Please share all pages of the trade license

  • Please provide your MOA (Memorandum of Association)

4) Proof of Business Address
Utility Bill, Tenancy Contract, or Telecom Statement( Du/Etisalat)

5) Power of Attorney for Authorized Signatory (If applicable)

6) Copy of Vat Registration (If applicable)

7) Business Bank Account Details, such as:

  • Bank Account Name: has to match the company name as it's spelled into bank database in English

  • Bank Account Number

  • Bank Address

  • IBAN Number

  • Bank Statement / original welcome letter from the bank

8) The Brand Name + Company logo

9) Website/ social media account URL such as Instagram or Facebook (depending on where you sell)

* The website MUST be complete, active and ready to sell

10) The company expected Annual turnover (AED)

11) Email addresses

  • The main access to your dashboard

  • All shareholders with more than 25% ownership (As seen on the Trade License) and/or authorised Signatory

12) Mobile numbers

  • Main contact person

  • All shareholders with more than 25% ownership (As seen on the Trade License) and/or authorized Signatory


B) An individual business is a business without a commercial license.
